Madarr and the Kindhearted is the creation of Duane Rancourt. (Madarr) The multi-instrumentalist has put together ten of his original songs written over the past decades, as well as one cover song.

Along, to add their musical talent are John Burton (keyboards) and Geordie Bolton (drums).

I am so happy to finally be able to release this record to the world. I started writing songs in 1976, and formed a group around the turn of the century, with my long time friend and drummer Brian Pearce. After, a few live appearances locally, and just when we were ready to play the city clubs, Brian suddenly succumbed to cancer. I hope this music finds your heart and soul.

John Burton

John is the guitarist and one of the founding and current members of Vancouver group Doug and the Slugs. He Played Keybords on this album.

Geordie Bolton

Geordie played with various rock bands in the 1980s and worked with blues groups in Vancouver including a stint with the band Brickhouse 1992-2004
